This place used to be the crappiest bar in Point Breeze when I first moved here. Guess they changed ownership during the lockdown part of the pandemic and now it's pretty solid. Simple food menu but it's a good combination of local corner bar and club. $1 tacos make it great. Only reason I don't rate it 5/5 is that; as with literally any club in Philly security really doesn't kick people out unless they can't stand up and as a woman I feel more comfortable in bars if I know the bouncers are on top of things.

Dolphin is a fun divey spot right off Broad in South Philly. I've been here on several occasions and it depends on the night/DJ/party what type of music they'll be playing so make sure you know what's going on in advance. On any night it could be all deep house or it could be hip/r&b.. The bartenders and owner are hella cool. Drinks are cheap and I heard they got $1 well drinks on Thursdays from 9-10?? I could be wrong.. The dance floor is moderately spacious but it can get really crowded in here. They have cool lighting and smoke and all that. Just don't come in here expecting some type of bougie experience or bottle service and you should be good.
